Project Director, Japan

The Position/役職：

With an expanding portfolio of Development Projects, STACK seek to add an additional Project Director to our Delivery Team. This Project Director will be responsible for the delivery of an upcoming Data Centre Project.

As a Real Estate / Construction Development Project Delivery expert suitable candidates for this position shall be considered a subject matter expert in the design and delivery of complex facilities, managing all aspects of the project including Design, Procurement, Construction, Cost Control, Change management, Commissioning and project close-out. Co-ordinating large project teams of stakeholders, vendors and contractors. The successful candidate will be a detailed focused, forward-thinking leader who is able to be strategic and see the big picture as well as being able to dive into the technical details of the project design, procurement & Construction activities and actions.

• Establish and lead both new and existing development projects. Building out project controls, delivery plans, project approach and methodology aligned to STACK Delivery Playbook while taking into consideration local market norms.

• Ensure compliance with STACK standard delivery best practice, project governance & Stage-gate approvals, utilizing our Project Delivery Tools and Technology Platform.

• Work as part of the team providing support, direction and leadership to the active project team members both within the Delivery team and project team members form related departments.

• Manage appointed General Contractors, Suppliers, Vendors and Consultants on key projects from award through to completion, ensuring delivery aligned to key project goals and requirements.

• Maintain and manage cost control and change control processes ensuring project cost control throughout with all contractors and vendors.

すべての請負業者およびベンダーに関するプロジェクト全体のコスト管理を確実にする

ため、コスト管理および変更管理プロセスを維持・管理する。

• Develop and maintain project schedules / programmes, identifying key critical path activities, manage and agree programmes with all parties and monitor providing regular updates.

• Identify, track and report on all key risks which may be affecting the projects. Develop and implement mitigation plans to address and mitigate risks.

• Develop and maintain working relationships with both consultants, contractors and supply vendors in market.

• Be client facing, interacting with local client teams, developing tailored solutions aligned to their requirements, structured and regular reporting cadence on project deliverables, progress, Safety & Cost as relevant.

• Experienced in Lean Project Management methodologies, tools & processes to drive highly efficient and empowered project teams on fast-track delivery.

• 10+ years in project delivery in Data Centers with at least 5 years within the Japan Market.

データセンターにおけるプロジェクト・デリバリーの経験が10 年以上あり、そのうち

少なくとも５年以上は日本における経験があること。

• Reporting to the Country Head of Delivery, you will work as part of the country business while regularly working with the Regional Leadership and Functional leadership (Engineering, Delivery, Facilities Management, Finance etc).

国内のデリバリー責任者へ報告をし、地域ごとのリーダーシップおよび各部署（エンジ

ニアリング、デリバリー、ファシリティマネジメント、ファイナンス）のリーダーシッ

Must-have Qualifications/必須資格：

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineer, Project Management, or relevant built environment field.

エンジニア、プロジェクト・マネジメントまたは関連する建築環境の学士号または同等

の学位。

• 10+ years progressive experience in Data Center delivery, with a minimum of 5 years delivering in Japan.

データセンターにおけるプロジェクト・デリバリーの経験が10 年以上あり、そのうち

少なくとも５年以上は日本における経験があること。

• Deep experience in data centers; familiarity with hyperscale clients.

データセンターにおける豊富な経験があり、ハイパースケール・クライアントと精通し

ていること。

• Working experience leading and collaborating on 3D Design Tools, BIM process & methodology and implementation of 4D/5D design principals.

3D設計ツール、BIMプロセスと方法論および4D/5D設計の実装を主導し、協同した実務

経験があること。

• Deep working experience in Project Management Platforms such as Procore, Clarizen or equivalent.

Procore、Clarizen、または同等のプロジェクト管理プラットフォームでの豊富な実務経

験があること。

• Experienced and competent in MS Project or Primavera P6

MS Project またはPrimavera P6 の経験とスキルがあること。

• Strong presentation and communication skills.
