Job Description

Main Responsibility:

• Creates concept with a strong design story, support the senior designer on design deliverables to meet budget.
• Assist the senior designer in the proper execution of design and documentation.
• Proposed color schemes and design ideas.
• Communicates conceptual design ideas through 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
• Source and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, and equipment.
• Assist the senior designer on the day-to-day project coordination efforts with the ability to prioritize deadlines.
• Work with client representatives, consultants, contractors, vendors to meet overall project objectives.
• Coordinate with the project management and construction teams to ensure cohesive documentation for construction.
• Ability to work with the team members on value-engineering to maintain the design intent.
• Undertake site, furniture, and equipment surveys.
• On-site coordination with consultants, contractors, and vendors during construction.

 

Your Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in commercial interiors particularly in workplace interiors. Excellent graduate is also preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of design.
• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other 3D computer design programs.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin are essential.
• BIM knowledge is a plus.
