We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced professional to be our Group Financial Controller.

In this position, you will be a key player in ensuring Posti Group’s external reporting and enhancing overall financial reporting process. You will work closely with the Group Finance team, Business Controlling teams, Posti Shared Service Center, and many other teams. You report to the Director, Group Financial Controlling.

You will provide your knowledge of reporting process and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and other regulatory requirements. In this role, you will proactively monitor any changes related to reporting standards and document impacts to Posti Group as such. You will be actively guiding Posti Group Accounting team in the consolidation process, and future development including the reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the consolidation and external reporting process including timetables and instructions.
  • Ensure accurate financial results across all entities and robust compliance at Group level.
  • Prepare external reporting quarterly/annually with stakeholders and coordinate the related audit process.
  • Provide accounting guidance on complex transactions, M&A, and new IFRS implementations.
  • Drive improvements in the above-mentioned processes, systems, and internal controls.

To succeed in this role, we hope that you have:  

  • A master’s degree in finance or a comparable field with a focus on finance or accounting, qualified accountant, and/or strong experience in auditing. 
  • Experience in large/listed company reporting from a Group’s perspective.
  • Proven experience in IFRS reporting and Group consolidation.
  • Good collaboration skills and ability to coordinate matters in a wide organization.
  • Ability to analyze and understand the big picture and the details in there.
  • Ability to work under pressure during tight deadlines, and to manage development projects.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA, HFM or similar consolidation systems are considered as an advantage. 
  • Experience in consolidation/reporting tool implementation projects is seen as a plus.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills in both English and Finnish
