Fraud Specialist (AU Fintech, Hybrid)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• At least 2 years of experience working as a fraud or payments analyst;
• Experience with and competent in processing a high volume of transactions (hundreds per day) quickly;
• Experience analysing information and summarising conclusions accurately;
• Preferable if you have experience analysing payments for cryptocurrency;
• Experience with and competent in communicating with customers with varying cultural background and level of understanding of cryptocurrency.
• Experience handling customer escalations

What will you do?

As a Junior Fraud Specialist, you will be responsible for analysing transactions made by our customers to ensure these meet our requirements. Your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing payments in real-time to identify indicators of fraud or money-laundering
• Analyzing fraud indicators to identify high risk payments and customers
• Processing legitimate payments according to internal guidelines
• Identifying fraud and money-laundering trends
• Escalating high risk payments and customer to team leaders for review
• Providing training and assistance to other new team members when needed.
• Providing email assistance to customers, banks and other organizations
