Stimulate Innovation

  • Seek   opportunities at GCAA level in collaboration with Mubader Team to introduce  innovations, which will in turn improve GCAA’s performance in line with GCAA strategy 
  • Explore and propose best innovation practices and enhance and manage the idea management  platforms that reflect the ideas of employees and external crowdsourcing for the benefit of the organization and  to pave the way for more creative ideas. 
  • Support the business units and teams in developing their ideas from a wide variety of sources through organizing workshops for brainstorming and using innovation tools to drive and document  idea from these activities
  • Support the open innovation activities to improve GCAA’s strategic innovation KPIs
  • Participate in Mubader Team to support the innovation function and activities to comply with  strategic direction
  • Implement the innovation framework requirements to promote innovation within the organization 
  • Administer the Aeronnovation website  and UAE Innovates Month activities  for the approval of the innovation CEO .
  • Maintain a network of contacts with the industry, organisations, universities and others in order to identify and foster suitable partnerships to promote research in areas of interest to the organization
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of innovation SKPIs and recommend improvement plans

Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures

  • Develop  policies systems, and processes for management approval in the area of innovation so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled.

Document Management

  • Maintain records of relevant reports, certifications and general correspondence to ensure proper document management

Reporting

  • Ensure that all functional reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet GCAA requirements and quality standards.

Health, Safety and Environment within GCAA 

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude as per IMS available standards

Other Tasks/ Accountability 

  • Perform additional tasks relevant to the role / area of expertise as requested by the management to be able to achieve the objectives/commitments.
