Business Operations Associate Director – Sustainability Services

The Global Sustainability Business Operations Associate Director works collaboratively with the Global Sustainability Services Lead and Market & Industry leadership to drive the Sustainability Services Strategic Growth Priority agenda across the breadth of Accenture’s business portfolio. The Sustainability AD also provides leadership to Sustainability Business Operations professionals and supports strong teaming globally and across markets to ensure consistent approaches for operations and management for One Accenture.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near-term and long-term goals for Sustainability Services commercial business. Translate priorities into actions / programs to achieve strategic goals globally and in the Markets
- Enables Sustainability Market Bus Ops teams through strategic alignment, balance of global standards vs. market/MU localization around offerings, and collaboration on go-to-market approaches and efforts.
- Define and execute initiatives across the Diamond portfolio, Industry network, Client interlock with supporting narratives & prioritization & coverage, etc.
- Working with HR and Market/Function Leadership, creates and implements the Sustainability talent strategy
- Supports the learning agenda for 700,000+ employees.
- Prioritization of Sustainability MD&I assets, allocation & ProBono projects
- Collaborate with CoS, M&C and Knowledge Management to establish cadence / coordinate appropriate internal community activities and an overall communication strategy to manage a strong Community of Practice site, Town Halls, practice newsletters, etc.
- Partner / collaborate with the various corporate functions that support the entity to provide consistent support across all the required dimensions.
Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years’ experience in leading business operations (teams) and/or finance in a business group
- Excellent communication, organization time management and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional track record of building relationships with stakeholders.
- Fact based decision making, proactive analysis and deep dives with strong attention to detail.
- Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to function as a team leader and maintain a good working relationship; think and act both independently and in a group setting with professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
- Optional: Highly proficient as end user of related operations tools/systems (SAP, MMS, MMB, etc)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)
- Project and organization management skills.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Demonstrated confidence and assertiveness in working with Senior Executives.
- Leadership and strategic thinking skills.
- Understanding of Accenture’s operations and reporting structure.
- Strong Understanding of organization business processes and policies.
- Advanced experience in change management, behavior change, sales processes, sales methodologies, sales improvement programs.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative, influence-based model.
- Demonstrated bias for action.
