Job Description Summary

The Tax Manager to provide expert advice for a specific area in Finance relating to local direct Tax requirement. Support the business with complex analysis, reporting, forecasts, tax planning, etc.

 

Job Description

Service Delivery :

• Provide expert advice to superiors for a specific Finance Specialty area.
• Provide management and superiors with accurate and relevant information to assess market risks and opportunities.
• Ensure continuous review and analysis of market risks and take appropriate mitigation steps.
• Responsible for providing accurate operational information and advice to support decision making of business managers.
• Contributes to the success of the finance function within their area of the business.
• May coordinate a team of specialists (e.g. tax/treasury specialists).
• Manage tax and compliance, provide analysis of financial information (monthly, quarterly and annual data) and ensure provision of necessary data to internal and external authorities.
• Review the tax return and schedule with coordination with tax team.
• Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)

Key Performance indicator :

• Contributions to projects (analyses, presentations, etc.) Strong relationships with colleagues both in and outside of finance
