Senior Backend Developer (Java)

We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to join us at Telia.

I’m Deividas Skvarnavičius, Acting Head of Prepaid team, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on building cutting-edge backend services that power our prepaid service website.

What you’ll do:

Take the lead in backend development for our prepaid services, focusing on a major payment system transformation. You will:

• Design and develop scalable, secure backend solutions.

• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and QA team members.

• Guide solution design and ensure best practices.

• Drive integration with mobile and web platforms.

What will help you thrive in this role:

This is a great opportunity for someone who is a proactive problem-solver, thrives in collaborative environments and is confident in guiding technical decisions that impact critical projects. You also need:

• Proven experience working with Java, Springboot (developing different products/features or working with multiple projects).

• Knowledge and experience of microservices and RESTful API design and implementation.

• Ability to JUnit test including unit testing and integration testing.

• Experience working with collaborative development workflows.

Monthly salary range for this position - 4300-6200 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonus. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
