Join CFA Institute as our Director, Inclusion Investment Strategies (formal job title is Director, Global Inclusion) —a unique opportunity to transform how the investment industry integrates inclusion, ethics, and behavioural finance into decision-making, governance, and leadership.
What You’ll Do
Design and lead global inclusion strategies tailored to the investment industry, embedding behavioural finance and ethical frameworks
Influence senior executives, regulators, and institutional investors to advance inclusion as a business imperative
Develop high-impact educational tools, workshops, and research programmes in collaboration with CFA Societies and global partners
Drive performance measurement with data-rich dashboards and metrics, using advanced Excel and analytical tools
Represent CFA Institute at international forums, industry events, and policy roundtables as a thought leader on inclusive investment practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate inclusion across global operations, research, and member engagement
What We’re Looking For
Significant experience in the investment industry (e.g. asset management, institutional investing, financial services), with credibility to engage C-suite and regulators
Proven ability to act as a change agent within financial services or investment organisations—applying inclusion principles with strategic influence, stakeholder credibility, and measurable impact
Strong understanding of governance, ethics, and behavioural finance—and the ability to translate theory into practical, scalable tools
Advanced data analysis and Excel skills to support KPI tracking, dashboard development, and impact reporting
Excellent communication and public speaking abilities, with a track record of influence and thought leadership
Experience working across global markets with diverse regulatory, cultural, and business contexts
Desirable Credentials and Experience
CFA Charterholder and/or Master’s degree in behavioural science, finance, neuroscience, psychology, or organisational development
Prior experience engaging with regulators, policymakers, and professional associations

At CFA Institute, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring process. In compliance with wage transparency laws in many of the jurisdictions in which we recruit, we provide the following information regarding compensation for this position: Expected annual salary range: £80,000-£100,000 (based on experience, education, location and other factors relevant to the position). Additional benefits include eligibility for an annual incentive bonus, a 12% employer contribution to a 401(k) or pension plan, and a comprehensive medical benefits package.
