Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join MAS Intimates as a Senior Merchandiser Development. This role would enable you to follow through and manage activities within the entire process, whilst supporting management in building relationships, ensuring price right, timely and accurate information is maintained with all relevant parties in order to drive operational excellence and achievement of set business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customer expectations by addressing specific development requirements and facilitating the commercialization process, including pricing, in a timely manner to achieve set objectives.
• Effectively manage the customer development calendar to meet both internal and external deadlines and requirements. Lead new development projects to drive business growth while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Leverage strong business and merchandising acumen to build credibility and foster relationships with internal teams, external partners, and customers to enhance efficiencies and ensure operational excellence.
• Coordinate with management to ensure all customer communications and visit preparations are completed within the stipulated timeframe, translating customer requirements to meet or exceed expectations.
• Ensure the timely procurement of raw materials in the correct quantity, color, and specification by tracking progress, managing shortages or damages, providing accurate documentation, and following up on supplier payments.
• Oversee and ensure accurate and timely completion of costing, cost re-engineering, and Salesforce updates to support internal earning targets and the achievement of set objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end order execution process, including raw material delivery, PO fulfillment, cut date planning, and timely communication of potential delays.
• Strengthen connectivity between development and bulk operations by focusing on risk mitigation at each stage, ensuring product feasibility and seamless handover to production.
• Coordinate the sample development process, participate in development meetings, and source fabrics and raw materials as per customer requests to ensure timely delivery of samples and prototypes.
• Guide and support the team in managing the color sample process by ensuring accurate and prompt system updates to facilitate effective sample completion.
• Negotiate terms such as pricing, delivery, and greige availability with suppliers, in collaboration with Fabric Technologists, to identify the best raw material options aligned with business and customer expectations.
• Proactively collaborate with the team to formulate and implement lean initiatives and Kaizen activities, and contribute to new projects to achieve departmental goals and strategic priorities.

Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of relevant work experience.
• A degree in Management or a professional qualification in CIM or CIMA.
• Prior experience in bulk order execution is a strong advantage.
• Strong background in mathematics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of product development, styles, and sample processes.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
• Proficient in building and maintaining professional relationships.
