RN - Emergency at St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 10-hour Day shifts.

Provides an optimal practice environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care. Responsible for planning, directing and managing the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population on one or more nursing units. Oversees the operation of the patient care unit with accountability for leadership, budget preparation and overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling. Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Environmental Orientation within 30 days of hire.
- Coursework/Training: General RN competency within 30 days of hire.
- Coursework/Training: Unit Specific competency within 90 days of hire.
- Coursework/Training: Emergency, Unit Specific competency within 30 days of hire.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 3 years of experience in an acute hospital environment.
- 2 years of experience in a specialty unit.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Master's Degree
- 2 years of Management experience.
