We are searching for a Practice Manager II -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will direct, supervise, and coordinate the overall operations of a practice as well as to advise, coach and mentor practice staff.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3 years supervisory experience required

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Practice Manager certification from the Practice Management Institute preferred
  • A master’s degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health or related field will substitute for two years of required supervisory experience
     

Responsibilities:

  • Keeps customers informed by explaining all tasks, processes, and procedures
  • Monitors workflow and ensures adequate coverage of level 2 practice
  • Interviews applicants, in conjunction with HR and ADRO/ DRO, to assure that open positions are filled in a timely manner by qualified candidates
  • Ensures staff compliance with policies and procedures and external regulatory agencies of level 2 practice
  • Holds staff accountable for policy and procedure violations, addressing any performance or conduct issues in a timely, consistent manner
  • Ensures patient balances are collected at time of service and payments are posted according to practice protocol
  • Coaches and counsels employees of level 2 practice
  • Conducts staff and provider meetings, on a scheduled basis, to address issues and provide updates
