Lecturer Health Sciences

The Health Sciences Department at Ursinus College has an adjunct teaching position for one lecture section of Concepts in Wellness and Fitness.  This course explores all dimensions of wellness with special attention to the physical domain.  Students are expected to gain the information and experience to establish and maintain positive control over their own personal health and lifestyle.  Instructors should be able to facilitate the development of personal fitness/wellness programs.  The course is based in assessment, focuses on science, and is applied with a multidisciplinary approach. Classes begin on August 25, 2025 and the lecture component is scheduled to be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00-9:50am. Master’s Degree in a related field of study is required, but PhD is preferred.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
