Shadowing & Mini-Projects: Rotate through supply-chain sub-teams (planning, purchasing, logistics) to shadow day-to-day operations and then lead a small, time-boxed improvement project such as re-slotting slow-moving SKUs or updating safety-stock parameters

Data Clean-up & Visualization: Audit ERP/MRP data integrity for a specific product family, build a Power BI dashboard that flags late purchase orders, and present findings to the planning team

2-4 Skill / Education / Experience Requirements for a Material Planner Intern

  Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups), familiarity with any ERP or MRP system is a plus Analytical Ability: Demonstrated coursework or projects involving data analysis, forecasting, or inventory modeling Communication: Clear written and verbal skills to interact with suppliers, warehouse staff, and internal stakeholders
