Active participant in all phases of the project lifecycle. Work with project stakeholders during project definition to help the team understand risks, dependencies, and opportunities; participate in requirements definition and review; lend subject matter expertise to projects.
Analyzes requirements, deliverables, results, etc.
Assists in performance requirement definition.
Ability to create test scenarios and test plans using performance tools like jMeter, Neoload etc
Ensures consistency and adherence to organizational practices. Builds and evaluates quality checkpoints.
Reviews, monitors and summarizes progress of performance testing activities. Suggest and implement process improvements that will accomplish team, department and business goals.
Provide mentoring or coaching to engineers, software developers and QA testers.

Technical Qualifications

Strong performance testing experience ideally with Apache JMeter.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
Preferred experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
Experience working in an agile engineering environment
Demonstrate knowledge of any project management tool like HP ALM, JIRA etc
Familiarity with software testing (unit, integration, functional, regression).
Familiarity with web services standards and related technologies (XML, SOAP, JSON, etc.).
Experience working on Linux/Unix and Cloud environment
Knowledge of database query tools and ability write and run SQL queries
