Bank of Jordan is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our Agile team. As a prominent leader in the banking sector, we strive to foster an innovative environment where cross-functional teams collaborate to enhance our products and services. In this role, you will facilitate Agile practices and ensure that teams adhere to the principles of Scrum, thereby enabling them to deliver high-quality results efficiently.

As the Scrum Master, you will be essential in guiding teams through the Agile process, removing impediments, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. You will also work closely with stakeholders to align team efforts with organizational goals, ensuring successful project outcomes and superior customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration and performance.
Coach and guide teams in Agile principles, best practices, and Scrum frameworks to foster a culture of self-organization and accountability.
Work closely with product owners to define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity and shared understanding among team members.
Help resolve impediments and challenges faced by the team to ensure smooth progress toward project goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders and management to foster open communication regarding project status, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Promote continuous improvement by encouraging reflection and adaptation within teams and by implementing best practices in Agile methodologies.
Monitor team performance and progress, providing metrics and reports to stakeholders to assess team health and effectiveness.
Support and mentor team members, encouraging skill development and fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience in Agile project management.
Strong understanding of the payments & banking services.
Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or any equivalent Project management certification) is highly desirable.
Proven experience leading teams in delivering successful projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to influence and drive change within teams and organizations.
