About the Role

Kai Tak Sports Park is seeking a curious, hands-on Application Platform Analyst to support and evolve the digital systems powering Hong Kongs premier sports and entertainment destination.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, resolving incidents, and coordinating across vendors and internal teams, while gradually expanding your impact across system integration, performance optimization, and architectural improvements.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working across teams, and growing into a more strategic technical role over time.

Key Responsibilities

Application Operations & Incident Response

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across digital platforms (e.g. ticketing, mobile app, websites, digital payments)
Monitor system health using dashboards, APM (application performance monitoring), and log management tools
Coordinate with vendors to escalate issues, validate fixes, and ensure timely resolution
Keep stakeholders informed during incidents and outages
Maintain system documentation, incident reports, and operational runbooks

Platform & Integration Enhancements

Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements in performance, reliability, or user experience
Collaborate on system upgrades, enhancements, and UAT activities
Provide input on functional gaps and technical design during roadmap discussions

Evolving Responsibilities (Based on Team Needs and Experience)

Support initiatives to enhance observability, automation, and operational efficiency
Assist in configuring and integrating new systems or vendor platforms
Contribute to system assessments and improvement planning
Help develop internal tools, dashboards, or scripts when applicable
Gain exposure to application platform architecture and design practices

What We Are Looking For

Must-Haves

3+ years of experience in application support, IT operations, or a related technical role
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in multi-vendor or cloud environments
Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences
Experience with monitoring/logging tools or writing SQL queries
Organized, responsive, and able to stay calm under pressure
Proficient in both Chinese and English

Nice-to-Haves

Familiarity with cloud platforms, API integrations, or system interoperability
Exposure to observability tools, ITSM practices, or SRE principles
Scripting or coding skills (e.g. Python, PowerShell, SQL)
