About the Role
Flinders Factory of the Future are seeking multiple Project Engineers to deliver a diverse range of collaborative research and development projects to support innovation in advanced manufacturing. Working closely with industry, government, and university stakeholders, you will contribute to the setup, operation, and demonstration of cutting-edge technologies aligned with Flinders University’s strategic goals.
As a Project Engineer, you will also:
Deliver scoped and budgeted research projects in collaboration with industry partners.
Provide technical advice and demonstrations of advanced manufacturing equipment and processes.
Support the setup, maintenance, and safe operation of equipment and facilities.

You will bring:
A relevant engineering degree.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of advanced manufacturing technologies.
Demonstrated experience or an ability to learn a range of computer software languages.

Completion of an undergraduate degree with relevant experience in engineering; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training.
Demonstrated ability in undertaking research with limited supervision and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other researchers in project or research teams.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of advanced manufacturing technologies and the application of human factors in advanced manufacturing.
Demonstrated experience or an ability to learn a range of computer software languages.
