ETL Development:
- Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into efficient ETL processes using ODI.
- Leverage your deep understanding of the OFSAA FSDF data model to design ETL workflows that ensure accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Data Integration:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows to extract data from source systems, apply necessary transformations, and load it into the data warehouse or target systems.
- Implement data quality checks and validation routines to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Performance Optimization:
- Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability, considering factors such as data volume, processing speed, and system resources.
- Monitor and fine-tune ETL jobs to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and contribute technical expertise to data integration initiatives.
- Document ETL workflows, transformations, and dependencies for future reference and team collaboration.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing of ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the data pipeline.
- Work closely with data analysts to validate results and resolve any discrepancies.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and propose solutions to enhance data integration efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, trends, and advancements in ETL development and OFSAA FSDF data model.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience 10 years as an ETL developer, with expertise ODI.
- Strong understanding of the OFSAA Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF) data model.
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL scripting languages.
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex ETL workflows.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Develop ODI maps
- Develop PL/SQL procedures
- Develop Feeder views
- Change Release - Prepare release note, change release, oversee released etc.
- Support ETL batches
