THE ROLE
- Design, update, and deliver training programs aligned with national high-risk work licensing standards
- Conduct competency-based assessments using National Assessment Instruments
- Champion a safety-first culture across all training activities
- Collaborate with industry experts to ensure training remains current and compliant
- Maintain accurate training records and implement regulatory updates into training content
- Identify skill gaps and develop targeted training solutions
- Engage with stakeholders to align training with industry best practices
- Mentor trainees and promote safety excellence
- Use feedback to continuously improve training delivery and outcomes
WHAT DO I NEED
- Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s licence (essential)
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
- High-risk work licenses (Minimum LF, WP & DG)
- Proven experience delivering training in high-risk work environments, ideally within mining
- Proficiency in assessing units aligned with high-risk work license requirements
- Strong understanding of national licensing standards for high-risk work
- Skilled in developing engaging training materials and assessments
- Solid computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite
- Experience using INX systems (InTuition & InControl)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of high-risk work activities and machinery in mining
- Ability to lead change and adapt training to evolving standards and technologies
- Qualifications in WHS or related discipline (desirable)
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to maintaining a proactive safe working environment
