Senior QA Automation Engineer

As a Senior QA Automation at Parser, you will be responsible for developing software solutions using different technologies, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.

We are looking for someone that is technical and a problem solver who is also able to work and communicate within cross-functional squads to deliver high-quality products in an agile environment.

The impact you'll make:

Lead the QA team strategy and hands-on execution with a comprehensive profile (Manual and Automation), ensuring quality across a hybrid architecture platform integrating legacy monolithic systems and modern distributed microservices.
Balance responsibilities across E2E manual testing, backend/frontend automation, and QA ownership during production releases.
Execute 70% of sprint manual testing efforts through detailed manual E2E validation of the web application, mobile responsiveness simulation, and JSF-based admin panel.
Design, document, and execute functional test cases directly from Jira user stories, embedding test evidence (screenshots, logs) to support PO certification and sprint sign-off.
Develop and maintain backend test automation across multiple levels: API (RestAssured), Integration (SpringBootTest, Kafka, WireMock, Testcontainers), and Component testing (custom JUnit-based framework).
Contribute actively to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated test suites (API and Component) in GitLab CI, reporting results in Allure and TeamCity.
Maintain and expand automated E2E scenarios using Selenide and Java, targeting both the legacy monolith and new TPP microservices.
Collaborate with developers on low-level integration testing to validate communication between legacy and modernized services during tech stack migration.
Define and deploy mocking data environments using IaC tools (Terraform) for targeted validation in AWS and Kubernetes environments.
Own the production release process of critical services, coordinating deployments, monitoring post-release health and resolving incidents with domain teams.
Support Product Owners with specification review, production incident triage, and demo preparation for business stakeholders.

What you'll bring to us:

5+ years of end-to-end experience in Software Quality Assurance across sectors like FinTech, iGaming, and Banking.
Strong hybrid QA profile: expert in functional manual testing and backend/frontend automation (API, UI, integration, component).
Proven ability to lead and execute QA strategy in Agile squads, combining hands-on testing with CI/CD and DevOps integration.
Deep knowledge of Java-based test automation using Selenide, RestAssured, SpringBootTest, and JUnit frameworks.
Experience working with monolithic and microservices architectures, managing test validation during service migration and refactoring.
Ownership of production releases and incident triage, collaborating with Product Owners, DevOps and business stakeholders.
Hands-on with test infrastructure setup using GitLab CI, Allure, TeamCity, Terraform, and AWS.
Committed to quality, scalability, and continuous improvement across QA processes and tooling.
