Store Promoter (Aurora Store, Aurora)

Company Introduction 

T&T Supermarket Inc. was found in 1993 with two stores in BC.  Since then, it has expanded rapidly to become Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 29 stores across the country: 13 in Metro Vancouver, 6 in Alberta, and 10 in Ontario (8 in GTA and 1 in Ottawa, 1 in Waterloo).

The Role

Reporting to the Store Administrator, the Store Promoter is responsible for promoting products of the Store to customers, executing the Customer Service Strategy, and achieving the sales targets.

Major Responsibilities:
1. Execute the appropriate selling behaviors consistently to achieve results
2. Achieve assigned sales targets including both regular sales and promotion sales
3. Build client base through establishing and maintain strong customer relationships, follow-up on satisfaction of purchases and notifying customers of upcoming events/promotions.
4. Responsible for the HABA section merchandising maintenance, strictly follow the display guideline. Keep product and display clean and suggest product order to avoid out of stock.
5. Assist in the execution of special events, seasonal gift with purchase and holiday programs
6. Provide fast and accurate check-out service as well as courteous support in customer enquiry
7. Be attentive for products security and premium stock management.
8. Able to handle customer complaints and establish good and timely communications with HO Health and Beauty Team

Other Responsibilities:
1. Generate regular business reports as required
2. Leverage Product Knowledge as a differentiating factor in the service experience
3. Have good understanding of the competitors, market trend, and well aware of new product knowledge
4. Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior(s)

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced retail environment

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
1. Minimum 1 year experience in Retail beauty store/brands
2. Possess good knowledge on health and beauty products and have passion in the industry
3. Ability to translate behaviors into optimal selling experience with the aim at reaching the targets
4. Full flexibility with schedule, including evenings and weekends/statutory holidays
5. Detail oriented; results-oriented; self-discipline
6. Demonstrate good communication skills, proficient in Chinese language (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) and good verbal communication skills in English language
7. Interested in developing one’s career in the supermarket industry
