Job Description:
1. Responsible for the procurement of products and services necessary for SLFAS operations
2. Develops spend planning through procurement projections and category project plan through Demand Management strategy.
3. Develops/Reviews specifications and acceptance criteria.
4. Analyzes market, reviews supplier base and pricing structure.
5. Manages and issues bids/quotations/RFP and develops terms and conditions based on specifications and level of service.
6. Determines alternative method of procurement i.e. blanket P.O., contracting, bid or auction.
7. Evaluates competitive offering to determine the overall best offer for a product.
8. Negotiates with potential supplier for best value.
9. Short-lists and appraises suppliers.
10. Ensure all related governance processes/policies are adhered to and completed prior to final approval to ensure the acquisition is done in the best interest of the company (legal, technical, financial, regulatory compliance)
11. Develops and implements supplier management strategy.
12. Tracks supplier performance and resolves contract problems with suppliers.
13. Conducts end-to-end processing and monitoring of Purchase Orders (Request to Payment).
14. Generates and monitors savings through cost-reduction initiative.
15. Keeps abreast on new products and technology updates.
16. Manages contracts of suppliers.
17. Ensures product standardization to streamline purchasing process.
17. Updates and provides information in a timely manner for accurate reporting and tracking of activities.
Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)
- 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
2. 5-7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
5. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
6. Excellent organizational and time management skills
7. Knowledge of supply chain management principles
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
