Job Description

• Well versed with the import & Local procurement knowledge
• Inventory management as per target and classification
• Delivery fulfillment for direct & indirect material availability
• Samples ordering mgmt. & co-ordinate with CFT for on time delivery at plant.
• Shipment tracking from Supplier end & Supplier capacity mgmt.
• Liasoning with Central logistics in Germany/Japan to maintain and improvement of system.
• Coordination with GS/OSD-IN team for import/export clearance, documentation.
• Expert in SAP MM module, BPS, knowledge of lean mfg. processes (Kanban, JIT etc.)
• MIS for monthly Freight & inventory
• Usage of CP PILUM for capacity tracking at suppliers
• Escalations to the right groups for critical issues
• Plant representative for bottle neck management
• Inventory management as per target and classification
