Your Role 

Execute collection activities efficiently and effectively in compliance with company policies and procedures. Ensure collection of missed or outstanding payments from clients are minimized.

Responsibilities

• Monitor adherence to policies and guidelines, for operating companies assigned;
• Check credit worthiness of customers, and cooperate with respective agencies respectively.
• Monitor outstanding credits quality (over-limit review, fluctuations in A/R balances, DSO, reinforcement of pay terms).
• Report on open past due balances, and discuss responsive action with internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate and decide credit requests or changes of credits on given limits.
• Act as point of contact for group finance in all credit limit requests which exceed given limits.
• Prepare reports reflecting status of credit and collection activities for management review.
• Review and reconcile all payments received on a current and daily basis.
• Prepare detailed, accurate and organized accounts receivable reconciliations for customer requests as well as internal requests.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies in payments received with collections team.
• Focus on managing portfolio of receivable accounts and ensure aged balances remain within the set business targets.
• Prepare scheduled /ad hoc financial analysis reports.
• Adhere to agreed service levels, company policies and procedures.
• Resolve operational issues and escalate to supervisor where necessary.

Requirements

• Strong team player
• Familiar with Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (C1 level)
• 2-4 years of work experience
• Industry or shared services experience is an added advantage.
