The annual salary range for this role is $80,000 in New York and $85,000 in San Francisco

The Specialist, Financial Markets and Resilience will be responsible for supporting Centre-specific content focused on developing and deepening cooperation and positive impact on topics of systemic importance. Areas of potential focus include financial system stability, European capital market integration, growth of private capital, democratization to retail investors, longevity economy.
Reporting Lines & Interactions
The Specialist, Financial Markets and Resilience will report to Head, Financial Markets and Resilience Initiatives and collaborate with initiative leads across the team. Internally, the person will also work with colleagues in our Account Management and Business Development Teams, the internal FMS Centre team, Global Industry Team, and a broad range of other stakeholders. Externally, this person will interact and collaborate with constituents ranging from Forum Partner and non-Partner companies, governments, academia, and civil society.
Main Responsibilities:
A successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the initiatives and facilitating engagement among Forum constituents – both business and non-business and will support the portfolio of work of team across a range of initiative s, events and outputs. Some responsibilities may include:
Initiative Management
- Contribute to scoping and delivering on existing initiatives that align with and promote the Forum’s and Centre’s mission
- Initiative organization, including ensuring deliverables are on track across multiple workstreams, coordinating with internal colleagues and external consultants (if applicable)
- Support initiative management governance; report and monitor initiative progress, impact and evaluation.
- Support development of deliverables from white papers and blog posts to communication strategies, that includes using various media channels from podcasts to social media
Stakeholder management and Business Development
- Contribute to identification and outreach for the community of potential and existing Forum partners
- Support engagement of a diverse set of executive stakeholders from private and public sectors on strategic deliverables and convenings, frameworks and policies
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure that opportunities to leverage Forum networks, events, and public engagement opportunities for initiative outcomes are fully utilized
Requirements and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Economics, or related field
- 2+years of professional work experience working with public or private sectors in areas that may include but not limited to banking, capital markets, investment management, investor relations, asset management, portfolio operations, strategy consulting, economic analysis
- Professional experience and existing relationships with public and private stakeholders in developed and emerging economies is a plus
- Ability to build strong internal relationships and networks within a complex, collaborative and ambiguous environment; can work well globally across cultures
- Energetic, self-directed, customer-oriented team player with a mission-oriented mindset
- Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional foreign languages a plus
