We are hiring an early career Financial Analyst to support our food manufacturing facility in Florence KY.  We are open to new graduates with Finance or Accounting degrees and limited experience including interns is helpful.  We're looking for someone who is great at analyzing problems, staying organized, and working both independently and as part of a team. If you’re someone who enjoys figuring things out and can manage your own tasks while also collaborating with others, you might be a great fit for this role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support complex financial analysis projects and reporting in collaboration with management.
  • Assist with monthly close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze management reports related to cost, production, spend, and performance metrics.
  • Contribute to the development of budgets, forecasts, and annual operating plans.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in journal entries, cost classifications, and accounting practices.
  • Partner with plant teams to support accurate inventory and cost accounting processes.
  • Review plant financial policies and statements for adherence to corporate guidelines.
  • Provide data and schedules for internal stakeholders and external audits as needed.
  • Perform additional accounting duties across fixed assets, A/R, A/P, and other key functions. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or experience in a finance or accounting focused role
  • Basic understanding of financial analysis and accounting policies, procedures, programs, and processes
  • Basic skills in the development of financial ratios and comparative analysis, or ability to learn
  • Basic understanding of general accounting principles and accepted standards
  • Possess analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • MS Office Suite experience, including Excel

 

Compensation and Benefits:

 

The base salary range for this position is $58,500 - $97,500 annually with eligibility for a 5% annual incentive bonus, which is based on organizational performance. The salary range represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent

Years of Related Experience: Typically has less than 3 years related experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Good PC skills including Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite; solid understanding offinancial analysis and accounting policies, procedures, programs and processes; good communication and interpersonalskills; proficient use of automated general ledger systems and reporting tools (SAP, SQL, Cognos, ReportNet and BEx);intermediate skills in the development of financial ratios and comparative analysis; thorough understanding ofgeneral accounting principles and accepted standards that enables some evaluation and originality to be displayed onstandard and non-critical matters; and CPA or pursuit of CPA preferred
