Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and engaging Math Instructors to join our team! As a Mathnasium Instructor, you will work closely with students to help them develop math skills, boost their confidence, and achieve academic success. If you are driven, motivated, and eager to make a difference, we would love to meet you!  What you will do as a Math Instructor / Tutor: 

• • Teach math to students in grades K-12 using the Mathnasium Method™.
  • Provide individualized instruction based on each student’s learning plan.
  • Utilize the Socratic method to guide students through problem-solving.
  • Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment.
  • Work with multiple students simultaneously while ensuring their progress.
  • Track and record student performance and progress in Mathnasium’s system.
  • Communicate with the Center Director and team regarding student development..
  • Support center operations, including preparing materials and maintaining a clean workspace.

What we are looking for in a Math Instructor / Tutor: 

• Strong math competency through Algebra II (or higher preferred).
  Passion for teaching and working with kids.
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  Ability to engage and motivate students in a fun, supportive environment.
  Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus but not required.
  Must be available to work afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends as needed.
