Full Time Staff Development/Infection Control RN or LPN

Friendship Village is recruiting for a Friendly and Energetic Staff Development/Infection Control Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our Health Center team! This opportunity is Full Time, participates with the on-call rotation schedule. This position has Benefits, Great Staff-Resident Ratio, and Teamwork. Starting pay is based on experience. This role provides full-scope, hands on functions within the community.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Staff Development/Infection Control RN/LPN:

• Responsible for orientation new nursing staff.
• Functions as the in-service Coordinator for nurses and nurse aides.
• Assist in administering TB, hepatitis, and obtains hepatitis consents.
• Logs and Maintains vaccination records for employment
• Assesses Infection control protocols and recommends corrective action

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Nursing licensure for RN/LPN  in the State of Michigan. 
• Has strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to a diverse group of individuals. 
• Well organized and flexible in hours to accommodate in servicing and competency skills signoffs.
• Two years' experience in long term care.
