About YES:
Founded in 2008, YES Communities has firmly established itself as a national leader in the real estate industry providing unique long-term high-quality housing options to our residents at an affordable cost. Our Denver Home Office is comprised of a diverse full-service team committed to integrity, collaboration and innovation as we continue to operate best-in-class manufactured home communities across 23 states. Our commitment to improving communities and enhancing the lives of our residents is evidenced by our long-standing industry presence and the experience of our leadership team, which has cemented YES Communities as a pre-eminent leader in the manufactured housing sector. To ensure our continued success, we are proud to offer a fast-paced dynamic environment where we empower our team members to share their vision to help drive the business forward.
Life at YES:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Developer to join our growing IT team. This newly created role offers the opportunity to help shape our development standards, drive innovation, and partner closely with IT and PM teams to build scalable, impactful solutions. You’ll work on a wide range of custom development initiatives—everything from employee onboarding automation to large-scale enterprise applications—within a .NET-heavy Microsoft environment. We value collaboration, initiative, and the ability to thrive in a non-regimented, dynamic workplace.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and support custom-built applications throughout the entire software development lifecycle (inception through deployment and maintenance).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT infrastructure, business analysts, and project managers to deliver enterprise-wide technology solutions.
• Lead efforts in system architecture and application design; advocate for best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Contribute to diverse technical projects across departments including automation, integration, and data management.
• Build and maintain reusable code libraries and scalable services primarily in .NET/C#, with exposure to Java, Python, Ruby, and other modern languages.
• Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to team standards for code quality and system design.
• Provide technical mentorship and support junior developers in best practices and tool adopt
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on enterprise-level environments (ideally within organizations of 1,000+ employees).
• Strong experience in .NET / C#, with working knowledge of at least one other language (e.g., Java, Python, Ruby).
• Proven experience in full life-cycle development, including project inception, design, development, deployment, and support.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal IT teams and partner effectively with project managers and stakeholders.
• Experience working on custom applications and automation solutions (e.g., onboarding workflows, internal tools).
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Thrives in non-hierarchical, flexible team environments.
