Position Objective:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise technical training programs for personnel, ensuring the development of key competencies aligned with the organization’s standards for quality, safety, and productivity. Leads the team of technical instructors and ensures the effective implementation of training programs on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement technical training programs for new hires and current employees (onboarding, upskilling, reskilling).
- Coordinate and supervise internal and/or external technical instructors.
- Ensure the effective execution of the annual technical training plan.
- Identify technical training needs in collaboration with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and other operational areas.
- Establish and monitor training effectiveness indicators (e.g., learning curve, time-to-performance, error reduction).
- Ensure training complies with applicable standards (ISO, IATF, industrial safety, etc.).
- Develop technical materials, operating manuals, work instructions, and training modules.
- Coordinate internal and external audits related to the technical training area.
- Manage training records and documentation using LMS platforms or internal databases.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and development of key technical skills.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical training within an industrial environment.
- Experience leading work teams or technical instructors.
- Knowledge of training methodologies (TWI, training needs analysis, DC-3, etc.).
- Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, process standards, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and LMS platforms.
- Strong communication, leadership, and results-oriented skills.
Advanced English and experience in the automotive, wind energy, or advanced manufacturing industries.
