MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Network Administrator to join our team in Doral, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assists in the foundational and daily administration and maintenance of the network infrastructure. This includes basic operational tasks like network monitoring, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and providing initial end-user support.

• Gains practical experience and develops foundational knowledge of networking fundamentals under the direct guidance and supervision of senior Administrators.

• Contributes to the creation and maintenance of accurate network documentation, ensuring up-to-date records.

• Participates in routine network security maintenance tasks.

• Learns about emerging networking technologies and trends through structured training and mentorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS in field necessary to assume Network Administrator duties or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree .

• Familiar with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their networking components.

• Knowledge of network security best practices, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and firewall management.

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques for performance optimization and troubleshooting.

• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications.

• Scripting and automation proficiency (scripting languages like Python or Bash for automating network tasks).  

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience supporting DoD programs and with cloud-based technologies.

• Experience with military/diplomatic operations working within a J-6/G-6/S-6 Directorate or with Special Operations Forces (SOF) or the Department of State (DoS), leading and performing cybersecurity risk assessments for and across multiple commands, agencies, and regionally distributed locations in a Security Operations Center (SOC).

• ITIL Foundation certificate, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator–Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect–Associate certifications.

• Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have a current/active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in stationary position for up to 50% of the time.

• Must be able to deliver clear and effective communication verbally and via email, phone, and virtual communication platforms to interface with co-workers and customers.

• Must be able to occasionally move about inside an office environment to access file cabinets, office machinery, and communicate with co-workers.
