Bridging Responsible AI Divides (BRAID) is a £15.9M UK-wide programme dedicated to integrating Arts and Humanities research more fully into the Responsible AI ecosystem. Funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, it runs from 2022 to 2028. 

The BRAID Communications and Impact Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing BRAID’s visibility, engagement, and overall impact.  The post-holder will contribute to a stakeholder-focused communication strategy, delivering initiatives for dissemination of BRAID impact outputs and promote knowledge exchange.  

 They will put in place mechanisms to monitor and demonstrate engagement and impact, working closely with BRAID senior staff to ensure that BRAID’s engagement with its stakeholders is strategically-focused, timely and relevant, and maximises our opportunities to make a difference. 

 The post is full-time (35 hours per week); we would be happy to consider flexible working patterns and we are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

 

Your skills and attributes for success: 

  • Excellent communicator: ability to translate and communicate research to a wide range of audiences across a variety of channels.
  • Well-developed understanding of how to capture, record and report on knowledge exchange and impact.
  • High level of initiative and excellent influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven record of project management and successful timely delivery e.g. of events and publications.
  • Ability to co-operate and contribute as part of a team.
