Requirements
We are looking for an experienced BI Architect to
lead the design and development of enterprise-wide business intelligence
solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting the
architectural direction, ensuring data consistency, and enabling self-service
analytics across the organization. This role requires strong technical
expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate business needs into
scalable BI architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design
and implement enterprise BI architecture strategies and frameworks.
- Define
data modeling standards, ETL architecture, and reporting solutions across
BI platforms.
- Collaborate
with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to gather
requirements and create scalable solutions.
- Evaluate
and select BI tools, platforms, and technologies based on business needs.
- Ensure
data quality, governance, and security best practices in BI environments.
- Develop
data warehousing solutions and oversee integration with external/internal
systems.
- Lead
and mentor BI development teams on best practices in design, coding, and
deployment.
- Drive
performance tuning and optimization for BI systems and reports.
- Align
BI solutions with overall enterprise data strategy and architecture.
- Stay
updated on emerging BI trends and recommend improvements to current BI
infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data
Engineering, or related field.
- 8+
years of experience in BI development and data architecture, with at least
3 years in a BI Architect role.
- Expert
knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView,
or Looker.
- Strong
experience with data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Azure
Synapse) and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, SSIS, Talend).
- Advanced
SQL skills and knowledge of dimensional data modeling.
- Experience
with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Strong
understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent
communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications
in BI tools, data engineering, or cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure
Data Engineer, AWS Big Data Specialty).
- Experience
with real-time data processing and big data platforms (e.g., Kafka,
Spark).
- Familiarity
with data science and machine learning integration into BI.
