Ventamatic is a leading manufacturing company dedicated to providing exceptional products/services to our clients. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and efficiency. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team.

The Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, and ensuring timely payments. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and support the overall efficiency of our accounts payable department.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Obtain necessary approvals and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Input and process invoices into the accounting software system.
- Prepare weekly payment runs and ensure timely processing of payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as necessary.
- Maintain and update the vendor database, including contact information and payment terms.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and provide resolution support.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate coding of expenses.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the accounts payable team.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
