Production Planner

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Other duties may be assigned.

o    Schedule and coordinate the flow of materials between production stages in producing Ichor products for specific planner groups
o    Reviews production schedules to anticipate required materials, equipment and supplies 
o    Manage WIP variances at the work order level and work with manufacturing production and stores to ensure timely and accurate material management
o    Manage change activity to WIP jobs at the work order level
o    Provide input to management and coordinate between departments
o    Work independently with moderate supervision
 

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

o    Knowledge of operating and scheduling procedures and processes
o    Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
o    Good verbal and written communication skills
o    Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
o    Solid knowledge of MRP, Oracle and Agile systems
o    Ability to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
 

Desired Education, Certifications and Experience

o    2-3+ years production planning, scheduling or related work experience 
o    A.A. Degree or equivalent experience, or any combination of education and experience
o    Experience using MRP, Oracle and Agile systems 
o    CPIM or APICS Certification
