Under the direction of a Registered Dietician and the Manager of Nutrition Services, the Diet Aide participates in nutritional care and treatment of patients by performing a variety of clerical tasks related to patient care.  The Diet Aide is also responsible for maintaining interdepartmental and intradepartmental relationships and communications related to clinical nutrition services.  Performs food preparation duties as assigned.  Delivers quality nutritional care in accordance with the specific needs of infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.  Interacts with patients and their families in an age-appropriate manner.

Required qualifications:

  • Within 30 days of hire National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority

Preferred qualifications:

  • Food production experience.
  • Computer experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
