The Program Manager, Health Equity works in close partnership with leaders and colleagues throughout PHP to support and lead key initiatives that enhance and advanced health equity through improve quality for our members, provider partners and customers. The Program Manager provides internal project management support through all project phases and leverages process improvement philosophies to drive operational and quality improvement activities, and establishes performance metrics and reporting for ongoing evaluation. The Program Manager, Health Equity operates in a highly matrixed environment to lead program activities for PHP programs and leads agenda planning, minutes, and presentations. This position coordinates data analysis, interprets and develops outcome recommendations that demonstrate the impact and value of various health equity programs. This role is also responsible for developing slide decks and presenting to internal and external facing audiences. The Program Manager, Health Equity also coordinates and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, customers and manages vendor partner relationships to achieve the service levels and organizational goals and objectives aligned to the strategic & financial plan as well as the mission and core values.
Major Challenges:
1. Supporting the development, management, and stewardship of health equity projects and programs through all project phases (initiation to closure), escalating barriers to leadership in a timely and solutions-focused manner, managing budget and invoicing, and vendor management when applicable.
2. Serving as an collaborative partner in health equity subject matter across the organization as appropriate.
3. Managing multiple programs, projects, and administrative functions to meet deadlines and customer expectations including for NCQA Health Equity Accreditation.
4. Coordinating efforts across projects and committees; using lessons learned to effect broad and lasting change.
5. Continuously evaluating processes for improvement.
6. Developing and building knowledge and expertise in a rapidly changing and complex environment.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years Experience in healthcare operations, for an understanding of the nature of the work performed by the customers of PSJH Shared Services.
- 3 years Experience in coordinating multiple projects in a corporate environment.
- 3 years Demonstrated success in supporting executive level leaders from an administrative perspective.
- Experience handling invoice and billing systems, such as Concur.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of tools, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years Experience in working in large organizations, preferably in a matrixed environment.

Oregon: Non-Portland Service Area: Min: $37.39, Max: $58.05
Oregon: Portland Service Area: Min: $40.11, Max: $62.27
Washington: Southwest - Olympia, Centralia & Below: Min: $40.11, Max: $62.27

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
