- Swedish Hill – Your new go-to for morning coffee, fresh pastries, and all-day bakery classics.
As a Counter Server, you will welcome guests in a friendly and polite manner. The Counter Server’s responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness, attending to guests’ requests, serving food and beverages, and/or packing it for to-go orders, including accepting payments.
What you'll do:
- Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and standards of service
- Demonstrate menu knowledge and sales skills, answering questions, and making suggestions.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and provide beverage services
- Communicate with other staff and management regarding the needs of guests.
- Complete all side work as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements
- Excellent customer service and people skills requiredStrong verbal communication skills required
- Active TABC certification required
- Good working knowledge of beverages and willingness to learn
- Minimum of 1-year serving experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience with POS system
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of being on your feet per shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
