As a Vice President Product Experience for Cloud , you will be responsible for:

• Defining the product experience vision and roadmap, aligning with business goals, customer needs, and market trends.
• Interfacing regularly with executives, board members, and key stakeholders, presenting product experience strategy, initiatives, and outcomes.
• Serving as a spokesperson and building strategic partnerships, strengthening internal alignment and external relationships to advance product experience goals.
• Overseeing creation of intuitive product experiences, ensuring consistency and scalability across products for various user types.
• Leading user research and championing developer experiences, best practices and informing product-market fit to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Communicating product experience strategy and outcomes to leadership and partners
• Leading, mentoring and scaling a high-performing product experience team, fostering innovation, customer obsession, and operational excellence.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• 15+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a technical related field.
• Be versed in cloud technologies, particularly with IaaS and PaaS and creating an exceptional product experience for technical and non-technical users.
• Have successful track record leading product experience initiatives to maximize customer adoption, usage patterns, and growth opportunities
• Be experience in defining and executing product experience strategy, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
• Enjoy leading user research initiatives to validate product-market fit and inform product experience decisions
• Be comfortable leading through change, effectively navigating and communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Be able to drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams
• Enjoy leading and scaling high-performing teams that include product, UX researchers, designers and technical writers.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $208,000 - $432,000/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
