This is a full-time, direct placement role at EDCO Environmental Services, Inc.

Our experienced technicians are qualified to repair or install your commercial heating system, commercial refrigerator, commercial freezer, commercial cooking equipment and commercial ware washing equipment. Job Description:
The new Full-Time HVAC or HVAC/R Technician will be required to fulfill the following:
1. Service, repair, trouble shoot, and/or propose replacement of all HVAC/R components and equipment.
2. Service, repair, trouble shoot, and/or propose replacement of commercial cooking equipment in customer restaurants such as dish washing machines, stoves, and much more. We do a significant amount of restaurant work.
3. Do various electrical or plumbing repairs.
4. Frequently communicate with the principal and secretary of the company to stay updated on future and current calls, part orders, and job progress updates.
5. Keep track of work hours by constructing written and typed invoices that document the details, recommendations, and entirety of the job. The invoice and documentation will ultimately be communicated back to the secretary.
6. Interacting with customers by communicating your findings, obtaining signatures, and/or collecting payment when advised by the principal. Also educate and stress to customers the importance of maintenance and answer any further questions they may have.
7. Work with other technicians on a job by offering more efficient ways to solve problems and fulfilling set tasks. 8. Understand clients needs and construct a plan to efficiently satisfy the customer’s needs.

Requirements
- Must have 3-5 years minimum experience as an HVAC/R service technician both residentially and commercially
- Must have EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License
- Trade school certification in the industry (Preferred)
- Must have safety knowledge
- Communicate effectively with superiors, colleagues, and customers
- Accurately identify, list, and order parts
- Take part in weekend, on-call rotation
- Be able to lift at least 75 pounds Skills
- Customer service oriented
- Teamwork skills when multiple technicians are on one job
- Outstanding time management and organization
- Everyday trouble shooting skills when complications arise within the field
- Punctuality when arriving to work each day
- Work under pressure and time constraints during peak seasons and beyond
