POSITION SUMMARY:

The Porter is primarily responsible for delivering and picking up Ressler Motors customers, maintaining courtesy vehicle, and providing back-up service drive attendant when needed while maintaining the highest level of customer service, satisfaction, and retention.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner at their vehicle or in the customer waiting area.

• Deliver and pick up customers, taking them to their destination per their request, within reason, as established by management.

• Maintain courtesy vehicle, keeping it clean inside and out and keeping it serviced regularly.

• Schedule courtesy vehicle in for needed repairs; keep it safe and comfortable for our customers. (Example: oil changes, tires, brakes, lights, etc.)

• Make deliveries and pickups when requested.

Service Drive Attendant Duties: (Duties when time permits or when attendant is absent)

• Wash and Vacuums customers vehicles when asked by service advisors or estimators

• Bring customers’ vehicles to them from the done row, remove seat protection and paper floor mat and thank customer for their business.

• Maintain a clean and professional appearance in the department. This includes cleaning floors, carrying out the trash, garbage cans and cardboard boxes.

• Clean service bay, including floor drains, on Saturdays and/or during week if needed.

• Check in new vehicles, properly filling out delivery receipts noting damage or missing items and gas them up with fuel per management’s guidelines.

• After putting in seat protectors and floor mats and repair order and key tag has been printed, park vehicles in assigned areas.

• Assist technicians in retrieval of vehicles for repair and park in assigned stalls.

• Remove snow and clean the outside of dealership entry areas.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Valid Driver License and clean driving record required.

• Customer Service experience preferred.
