Schedule: Full-Time | Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hiring Range: $23/hr to $31/hr

What You’ll Do:
As an Accounting Specialist, you’ll be a key player in our financial operations:
- Keep things moving! Process accounts payable and receivable transactions using automated systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support payroll! Serve as backup for bi-weekly payroll processing, including timesheet review, pay data verification, and 401(k) reporting.
- Be the go-to contact! Communicate with vendors and staff to resolve invoice and payroll questions with excellent customer service.
- Stay organized! Maintain office supplies, prepare purchase requisitions, and perform general clerical duties like filing and scanning.
What You Bring:
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field and at least 1 year of relevant experience
OR - High school diploma/GED and at least 5 years of accounting-related experience
AND
- Strong experience processing payroll for organizations with 100+ employees using electronic payroll software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle with current liability insurance
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards
- Cultural sensitivity and respect for Indigenous traditions and values
