Schedule: Full-Time | Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hiring Range: $23/hr to $31/hr

What You’ll Do:

As an Accounting Specialist, you’ll be a key player in our financial operations:

Keep things moving! Process accounts payable and receivable transactions using automated systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Support payroll! Serve as backup for bi-weekly payroll processing, including timesheet review, pay data verification, and 401(k) reporting.
Be the go-to contact! Communicate with vendors and staff to resolve invoice and payroll questions with excellent customer service.
Stay organized! Maintain office supplies, prepare purchase requisitions, and perform general clerical duties like filing and scanning.

What You Bring:

Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field and at least 1 year of relevant experience
OR
High school diploma/GED and at least 5 years of accounting-related experience

AND

Strong experience processing payroll for organizations with 100+ employees using electronic payroll software
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle with current liability insurance
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards
Cultural sensitivity and respect for Indigenous traditions and values
