Description


The Apparel Category Manager is a product focused and process management role dedicated

to delivering seasonal apparel collections that are authentic to brand, customer, and sales

channel. The CM leads the product creation strategy with direct oversight of inline assortment

performance and leverages a close connection with the hunt customer and their purchase

trends to identify new market opportunities. The CM actively coordinates day-to-day product

operations for the entire apparel team to maintain the development calendar and is ultimately

responsible for the execution of all go-to-market dates and deliverables.


The Apparel Category Manager’s primary goals are to grow a financially healthy business and maintain

strong brand identity with a premium product mix. The CM must have excellent communication

skills as they are responsible for managing the flow of data between design, development,

supply planning, manufacturing, marketing, and commercial teams.

Location: On-site in Hailey, ID or Bozeman, MT

Reports to: Logan Williamson, Director of Product


Requirements


Core Responsibilities and Expectations

* Developing seasonal line plans, product briefs, packaging, and go-to-market materials

for technical and logo apparel

* Managing the product and GTM timelines with precision, driving clarity, accountability,

and momentum across design, development, and commercialization teams

*Analyzing sales data, channel feedback, and the competitive market to inform product

strategy

* Innovating new technologies and optimizing manufacturing processes to deliver best-in-

class product at healthy margins

*Validating new product developments both functionally and financially through the

commercialization process

*Collaborating with retail merchandising and tradeshow planning to execute premium

brand presentation

*Traveling (domestic and international) to meet with manufacturing vendors, wholesale

partners, and to help execute marketing activations

* Understanding that every day in this role brings new, unforeseen challenges and requires

incredible drive and resourcefulness to execute business critical priorities – even if they

fall outside the job description.


Education/Training

* Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree and strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office and Google

Workspace programs

* Preferred: Experience working in Centric PLM systems and basic Adobe illustrator skills

experience

* Minimum 5+ years of professional experience working in apparel product management

or merchandising specialized Knowledge/Skills

* Must have a passion for the outdoors that aligns with our core brand pillars of Hunting,

Fishing, and Conservation.
