We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Licensing Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring our home remodeling operations remain compliant with local, state, and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, tracking, and managing a wide variety of business, contractor, and consumer finance licenses across multiple jurisdictions.

What You'll Do:

Prepare and complete contractor, business, and consumer finance license applications for management review and signature.
Maintain and build a comprehensive tracker in Asana to monitor expiring documents, including but not limited to:
- General Contractor (GC) licenses
- Master Plumber (MP) licenses
- Business licenses/registrations
- DBA (Doing Business As) registrations
- Consumer finance licenses
- RRP (Renovation, Repair & Painting) certificates
- Canvass licenses
- Additional one-off licenses as needed across the Renuity portfolio
Request and manage required Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and Bonds necessary for licensing.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Operations and Production leaders) to align on licensing priorities, timelines, and project dependencies.
Ensure all licensing applications are verified and approved internally prior to submission.
Serve as the primary point of contact for tracking renewals, resolving application issues, and staying ahead of compliance deadlines.

What You'll Bring:

Experience working with municipal and state licensing procedures (home services or construction industry preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook); experience with Asana or other project management tools are highly preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow through on administrative tasks without supervision.
Prior experience in a home remodeling, construction, or compliance-heavy environment
Familiarity with insurance and bonding documentation
Ability to proactively identify process improvements for licensing and registration workflows
