Amity is committed to research, development implementation, and dissemination of information regarding community building. Remembrance, Resolution, Reconciliation, Restoration, Renewal About the Position:The Warehouse Supervisoris responsible for assisting with the operations of the Amity Foundation Donation Center through inventory the collection and delivery of donations to the organization and fulfilling and executing basic warehousing and stock request duties. This position is responsible for the handling, storing, processing and distributing donated clothing, furniture and other household and office items to support our community re-entry projects.  The Warehouse Supervisor carries out an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and delivery of requests, and/or managing, retrieving, and organizing stock.

What You Will Do:

  • Supervise warehouse faculty.
  • Receive and Intake donations for Amity Foundation throughout service areas.
  • Unloads and unpacks incoming donations and performs sorting, grading, and stocking of donations.
  • Sorting donations categories needed to fill the orders from internal campuses and outside organizations.
  • Assist with the organization of the warehouse, in collaboration with the Director of Development, to ensure the safe flow, sorting, and storage of donations and related equipment.
  • Utilize a forklift and pallet jacks to maneuver all inventories throughout the warehouse.
  • Maintains the donation warehouse in a clean, orderly & safe manner.
  • Perform any additional tasks and projects as deemed necessary for the smooth operation of the donations services
  • Other related duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during long shifts.
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move stuff around
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Education and Experience:
  • Required:
  • Previous warehouse operations experience.
  • Valid Class C Driver's license.
  • Forklift Operator License
  • Previous experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong initiative. Self-driven and able to deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change the course of action quickly.
