GNC is seeking an HR Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting HR data to support key decisions related to talent management, compensation, workforce planning, compliance, and employee engagement. The HR analyst will be required to translate data into HR and operational best practices through compliance management, data reporting that supports business objectives, and ability to present data to key business stakeholders.

This role will also assist with optimizing HR processes, systems, and programs by leveraging data insights and industry best practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and a strong communicator with a passion for data-driven HR.

What You’ll Do:

This is a Full-Time Hourly Position

  • With direct supervision by HR Management or Senior HR professionals, assist to coordinate or administer various aspects of the organization's compensation planning, compliance management including I9 management, organization development, and employee relations programs.
  • Conduct regular audits of I-9 records to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Maintain and manage E-Verify submissions and follow-up processes.
  • Monitor and update work authorization expirations and re-verifications.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on Form I-9 and E-Verify procedures, providing training and guidance to managers and HR staff.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze HR data related to headcount, turnover, performance, benefits, and other key HR metrics.
  • Create regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards for HR leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Support compensation structure development through benchmarking and market analysis.
  • Analyze pay equity and internal parity and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Generate compensation reports and dashboards for HR leadership.
  • Identify trends and provide actionable insights to support strategic HR planning and initiatives.
  • Support HR audits and data requests related to regulatory and internal compliance.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Environmental Factors & Working Schedule:

  • Hybrid work environment, 2-3 days in-person attendance (Pittsburgh, PA) in addition to ability to work remotely.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 0–2 years of experience in HR, compensation, payroll, or related administrative support (internship experience acceptable).
  • Strong Excel proficiency required; familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP) preferred.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to present findings clearly to HR and business partners.
  • Strong ethical standards and ability to manage confidential information.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during compensation planning cycles, if necessary.
  • Knowledge of I-9 and E-Verify regulations and best practices.
