We are seeking a diligent and proactive Collections Officer to manage and coordinate the collection of outstanding accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring timely payments while maintaining positive client relationships.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned customer accounts to ensure timely payment and resolve any billing or payment issues.
  • Initiate contact with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to collect outstanding amounts.
  • Maintain accurate records of collection activities, account status, and customer communications.
  • Escalate accounts requiring further action to relevant team members
  • Collaborate with the billing, sales, and customer service teams to reconcile accounts and resolve issues in line with company policies.
  • Update customer account records and coordinate with the bank or finance team to ensure accurate posting of payments received.


Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in credit control, collections, or accounts receivable.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
