The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The US Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle.
The US Membership Engagement team sits nestled within US Customer Loyalty Marketing (USCLM) as a critical and foundational arm to deliver marketing on behalf of the enterprise to win the hearts, minds and wallets of our customers and deliver on the brand promise.
How will you make an impact in this role?
The team is looking for a Senior Manager, Core MR Benefits Marketing, who will lead a team responsible for owning marketing curriculums to drive benefit awareness and education for Card Members, lead strategic cross-product projects and provide loyalty benefit central support.
This Senior Manager will develop and execute end-to-end marketing strategies to drive benefit engagement and usage within Core MR Product portfolios. Examples include core loyalty curriculums, e.g. product e-newsletters and Value Summaries; new benefit messaging and strategies. They will closely collaborate with a variety of partners to contribute to overall Core MR Marketing goals. In addition, they will work across loyalty benefit teams to lead cross-team projects and oversee benefit central support.
This role is ideal for a customer-centric marketer who understands the Consumer marketing space and is motivated by challenging the status quo, driving measurable results, and collaborating with partners across the organization. Success in this role is measured by the ability to effectively apply Card Member insights and engagement metrics to inform marketing strategies, further define and deliver marketing curriculums, support new product initiatives, flawlessly execute test-and-learn campaigns that grow Card Member benefit engagement and work across loyalty benefit teams to provide central support and lead strategic initiatives. This individual will also lead 2 direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end development of Core MR benefit marketing curriculums that will drive benefit awareness and usage, including primarily email and other digital/direct channels (e.g., web, direct mail, mobile, and more)
- Lead strategic cross-loyalty projects such as supporting enhancing marketing targeting capabilities and testing into new design templates
- Continually advance our strategy and results by identifying new opportunities, innovating our tactics, and applying a test & learn approach
- Execute marketing, ensuring a flawless and compliant customer experience
- Strong collaboration with key partners including Marketing, Product, Marketing Enablement Teams, Analytics, GCO/LOBCO and external Agency partners
- Present to Senior Leaders on ongoing project updates, results, strategies & marketing roadmap
- Manage up to two B30 Direct Reports
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience developing and executing email marketing and/other client facing marketing
- Customer-centric marketer who can translate insights into strategies
- Understanding of marketing capabilities and marketing execution platforms is a plus
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to make informed decisions and drive channel innovation
- Solution-orientation and a demonstrated ability to navigate challenges and identify new opportunities
- Role-models partnership skills, builds relationships, and collaborates across multiple partners
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and proven success driving results
- Direct or indirect people leadership experience and a dedication to coaching and supporting direct reports
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Qualifications
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
