As a Procurement Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement and sourcing activities of the hotel. Your responsibilities include assisting in supplier management, procurement processes, and contributing to cost-effective and efficient procurement operations.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement process, including identifying potential suppliers and obtaining quotations.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Manager in evaluating supplier proposals and negotiating agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier contracts.
  • Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies.
  • Help analyze market trends and supply chain data for informed procurement decisions.
  • Participate in cost and price analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to procurement processes.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels and optimizing stock control.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Contribute to environmental and safety initiatives related to procurement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement.
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner to safeguard the health and safety of guests and colleagues, as well as contribute to environmental conservation.
  • Adhere to the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
